I can't actually remember what I wrote last time. . .

Aaaaah now I remember I'd just had the first of about three migraines (the last was killer). We went over to Tga for the weekend after I'd finished work and had surprise of all surprises a BBQ. But hey at least they are consistent. On the Sunday Elsa (Ricks mum) and I ended up doing cross stitching for most of the morning. She even bought me one off the internet so I could do it when I went over. They all went to play golf which kinda sucked cos the light was affecting me so much I couldn't go. We didn't end up getting home until 10:30 or so that night, and Rick said that it was the hardest drive he'd ever had to do.

On Monday night I was just folding some washing (damn washing never ends) and my eyes seriously went for a spin. Then BAM it felt like someone stabbed me in the head. Massive migraine, rick was such a sweety and went to the 24hr countdown to get me drugs to help stop the pain. Went to the Dr and I'm not allowed chocolate, caffeine (!), cheese, alcohol and citrus fruits. This sucks ass.

Kris and Jamie are apparently coming over this weekend, which kinda sucks cos I had planned a surprise weekend away in Rotovagas for Rick and I, oh well, next time.

What a day

My day started with a blinding headache that I'd had since the night previously. I took Rick to work and nearly threw up all over the place, but its all good now. I went home to bed for about 5 hours and the migraine has finally gone away. I had to call up work and tell them that I wasn't coming in today, that was the first time I have ever had to do that, quite impressed really.

Rick and I are going to a BBQ tonight at Kim and Sam (Bruce) 's place after I finish Weight Watchers. It will be cool cos it will be just us four hanging out and relaxing. I think we are going to Jo and Andre's on Friday night for another BBQ, and then Tauranga for a BBQ (I suppose) for Donovan and Richards birthdays. I'm gonna try and take some photos and post them on to my blog because apparently its a lot easier to do these days. Yay.

I've just found some photo's on Ricks Computer I might have a fiddle with these and see if I can update people montage styles, hehe.

Yay, Yay, Yay

I've finally got access to my older blog that I thought I'd lost forever, yay. In my frustration I started up a new blog called Nicky's Weight Loss Journey which is purely about how my trials and tribulations are going with Weight Watchers and my struggles and stuff with that. This one though is all about me and what I get up to.

I have made one new years resolution and that is to keep in touch with my friends more often, and what is a better way than with the interweb. I have a face book account as well and I will try to keep up with that too.

Must dash have to do my Yoga DVD before Rick wakes up :-)

I'm so annoyed right now

Mostly at myself for not doing this stupid assignment earlier and partly because no one is around and I need to get things signed off. Yes I shouldn't have left it untill the last possible seccond to get statistical aproval or my supervisors aproval but I did and I am the only one to blame. Gggggrrr.

Well at least its pretty much done now. I have done the hardest part wich was the writing of the introduction and literature review. Honestly if I can't get in touch with Ryan today I'm going to just quit tonight. The reason I am so stressed about it is that it is due tomorrow and I am going up to Whangarei to see my parents and help my sister with Chemistry as she has exams comming up soon and I sympathise with her as I had the same 7th form chemistry teacher.

Must carry on with my quest to find Ryan and go insane in the process . . . hey wait a minute, thats already happend at least once already. I might be really mean and go into Chartwell tonight as they have late night on Thursday and this is the first Thursday I have had off since I started. Appart from the fact that this will be very mean it will make me feel alot better.

Donovans' Wedding

Well it was Ricks' brothers wedding on Saturday and it was really interesting. I've never been on the male getting ready side of things for a wedding seen as the first wedding I was involved in I was a bridesmaid and Rick was the best man. So I got to be in the midst of the female side of things, and the next wedding I was involved in ws my own. I guess I got things from a new perspective and realised that the guys go through pretty much the same emotions the girls do. I had my lovely new dress on from Max as well as my new shoes and cardi. I looked pretty o.k I think. Rick was his best man so he didn't need a new outfit (hehe).

The wedding was quite religious but not too over the top, in saying that tho, I got a bit sick of the constant 3 people union thing (Donovan, April and the Lord), but hey each to their own right. I'm going to attemt to put pictures up and as soon as I do you guys will get to see them.

Just one more assignment to do then I am finished with the whole masters concept. If I pass the papers I can get a post grad diploma in science and if I decide in 10 years to do my masters all I have to do is the thesis. If I fail one paper I can keep the rest in the bank until a later date and complete my masters whenever. If I fail two papers I can't do my masters again. At the moment that doesn't really bother me what with the teaching and all, I think I just want to earn money at the moment.

So it's back to the assignment unfortunately. Untill next time.
